Halloween: The Game is an asymmetric horror game by IllFonic based on the 1978 Halloween film. On Halloween night, 1978, no one is safe from Michael Myers: you can take The Shape of Evil and terrorize the residents of Haddonfield as Michael, or arm yourself with weapons and everyday household items as one of the Heroes of Haddonfield, alert the authorities, and rescue innocent families. A standalone single-player story also lets you experience "The Night He Came Home" through Michael's eyes.

The game is a horror sandbox: dynamic map features, life-like NPC interactions, and player abilities on both sides. Michael stalks from the shadows and grows stronger as his bloodthirst rises; civilians search for escape routes, arm themselves, call the police, and can eventually return as cops — or even Dr. Loomis — to take Michael down.
