Loomis Log #1 is one of the two recordings hidden in Chapter 3 — Returning Home, the chapter that sends Michael back to the neighborhood he grew up in. It carries the lowest number of the eleven Loomis Logs, but as most players notice, the numbering has nothing to do with the order you actually find them — this is usually one of the last tapes of the run.
Where to find Loomis Log #1
Push the story until you have killed the intruder and earned free map exploration. Then open the map and look to the right of house 808 — the house next to Marcus's place stands there as an optional-entry house. Go in.
The recording sits on a cabinet in the middle of the house. It is easy to spot: the cabinet stands in a lit spot.
